Growth & Operations Lead (Prime Biller & Topupmate Connect)

Compensation: ₦80,000 – ₦100,000 Monthly Base Salary + Performance-Based Bonuses

Prime Biller has served over 20,000 users and remains one of the most recognized consumer-facing platforms within our ecosystem. We are now entering a new growth phase focused on user reactivation, customer retention, organic growth, and operational excellence.

We are looking for an ambitious and commercially-minded operator to lead the day-to-day growth and operational execution of Prime Biller while supporting key operational activities within Topupmate Connect.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the Nigerian VTU and bill payment ecosystem and wants the opportunity to grow an established platform rather than start from scratch.

Your Mission

Your primary mission is simple:

Increase active users, transaction volume, customer retention, and profitability across Prime Biller while helping maintain operational excellence within Topupmate Connect.

You will work directly with the Founder and collaborate closely with Customer Success, Product, and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Prime Biller Growth & User Reactivation (70%)

  • Analyze and segment our existing database of 20,000+ registered users.

  • Design and execute user reactivation campaigns through WhatsApp, SMS, email, and other relevant channels.

  • Develop and implement low-cost customer acquisition strategies.

  • Identify opportunities to improve customer retention and transaction frequency.

  • Work with Customer Success to understand customer pain points and reduce user churn.

  • Engage directly with users and communities to gather feedback and uncover growth opportunities.

  • Launch and test referral programs, loyalty initiatives, and other growth experiments.

  • Monitor platform usage trends and recommend growth initiatives based on data.

Commercial Operations & Platform Management (30%)

  • Monitor pricing changes and industry developments across the Nigerian VTU ecosystem.

  • Maintain relationships with API providers and key industry partners.

  • Track platform float balances and ensure operational readiness.

  • Monitor competitor activity and identify market opportunities.

  • Prepare weekly performance reports and actionable insights.

  • Recommend strategies to improve margins while maintaining competitiveness.

Requirements

Industry Experience

  • Strong understanding of the Nigerian VTU, bill payment, fintech, or digital services industry.

  • Previous experience running, managing, operating, or growing a VTU platform, bill payment business, fintech product, or related service.

Growth Mindset

  • Demonstrated ability to acquire, reactivate, or retain users.

  • Experience executing growth initiatives with limited budgets.

  • Strong understanding of customer behavior and retention strategies.

Analytical Skills

  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets and data.

  • Ability to analyze user behavior, identify trends, and make recommendations.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Launch structured user reactivation campaigns.

  • Introduce growth initiatives focused on increasing active users and transaction volume.

  • Deliver measurable improvements in engagement and customer activity.

Within 90 Days

  • Demonstrate meaningful growth in active users, transaction volume, retention, and overall platform performance.

  • Establish repeatable systems for customer reactivation and growth.

  • Become the operational leader for Prime Biller's day-to-day growth activities.

In addition to your base salary, performance bonuses will be tied to growth in:
